The service

ShareLess provides on-device privacy tools (Make Private, Fingerprint), an optional end-to-end-encrypted personal vault, and connectors that let AI apps request your vault fields. You can approve a non-payment request when it appears or through a revocable standing rule for future matching requests. Payments always require a fresh hold on your device for the selected card and displayed amount. Local use needs no account; an account turns on cross-device sync and connected features.

How connected features handle data

Local connectors open approved vault values on your computer or in the browser extension. The hosted remote connector opens an approved value briefly in server memory so it can return the value to the AI service you connected; ShareLess does not log or store that plaintext. For supported cloud checkout, a runner created for one purchase opens approved details in memory long enough to fill and submit the checkout. See the Privacy page for more detail about each path.

Your account and your keys

You're responsible for the devices you sign in on and for keeping your sign-in secure. Vault recovery depends on the recovery option you set up; ShareLess cannot reconstruct your plaintext vault from its servers. Keep your recovery passphrase or other configured recovery method safe. Without a working device or recovery method, your vault contents may be unrecoverable.

Free and premium

ShareLess is currently an invite-only, free pilot. Features labeled Premium may appear in the product for testing, but Premium is not currently for sale and those labels do not create a charge. If we introduce a paid plan, we will show its price and billing terms before you purchase it. Canceling a future paid plan would stop future charges without deleting your data.

Acceptable use

Use ShareLess only for lawful purposes and only with data you have the right to handle. Don't attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the security of the service, and don't use it to harm others.

No warranty

ShareLess is provided "as is." The privacy tools are best-effort aids, not a guarantee that any particular piece of information is hidden or safe, and nothing here is legal, financial, or security advice. You remain responsible for what you choose to share.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ShareLess and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using ShareLess and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or to comply with the law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll revise the date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app.
